Destination: Miami, Vegas, or Wherever There’s a Party
Your favorite life of the party couple is finally getting hitched and of course, they’re taking you somewhere fun and fabulous. We know it will be a wild few days with lots of dancing and drinking, so why not wear an ensemble to match that high energy and get you back into the party mode. After too many months spent sat at home daydreaming, a bold look will pack a punch with friends you have missed.
Destination: Intimate Backyard or Low-key Ceremony (Daytime)
For the wedding that is close to the heart and most likely, close to home, a no fuss look is what we recommend. An intimate backyard wedding is one of our favorite venues; the quieted down focus on love, family, and celebration takes center stage and literally you can feel the love in the air. For such warming occasions we opt for mostly longer line frocks to help protect us from any unnecessary bug contact in the great outdoors, but with light fabric that is breathable to help with any overheating. Sweat stains and bug bites are not exactly the summer vibe we are shooting for.
Destination: Elegant Black Tie In A City (Evening)
We love any excuse to get dressed up regardless of the occasion, but especially under the cover of Black Tie. With a license to go for over the top looks and floor length gowns, one more question remains - do we go for soft feminine or femme fatale? You’ve made the splurge for your favorite friend and decided to book an international flight to their destination wedding. With a departure date set, we can’t stop thinking about the wonderful looks and - let’s be honest - the enviable Instagram opportunities we’ll have. When keeping all of that in mind, we gravitate toward bold prints and shapes. Naturally, we have to look as incredible as our, likely ancient, surroundings. Okay, we cannot compete with the Temple of Athena Nike, but we are sure going to try!
