Spring Is Here, Are Your Ankles Ready?

Farewell to our tread sole boots that helped us stay upright as we trucked through the snow. Many thanks to their practical function and overall warmth and comfort, but we are ready for the new! Well, you may be ready, but how are your ankles - Well moisturized, I hope! We’re thrilled for all of the new styles that Spring brings, but we’re especially excited to put away our heavy boots and bring our loafers and flats to the front of our closets. This season, we’ve pulled together a short list of the best new shoes you’ll need to get through these delightful warmer months.

Have we arrived to full adulthood? If yes, then proceed with caution to discover these incredible Tod’s loafers made from buttery leather and embellished with a gold watch bracelet detail. Talk about understated, but still glamorous.

Perhaps one of the most talked about shoes of the season is a rebellious take on the classic penny loafer. Prada introduced this chunky leather shoe last year, and stylish women everywhere have flocked to it in droves. Not only does it add a bit of prep into your everyday look, its a natural evolution from wearing a casual sneaker.

Every woman’s favorite new cult brand, Khaite, reintroduces the “Ashland” ballet slipper with a fresh twist. Adding an exaggerated square toe inspired by pointe styles, its clear that the shoes will put you in an elevated class.

Lee Radziwill had a tough job being Jackie Kennedy’s younger sister, but she made a name for herself despite her sister’s shine. Often referred to as the more fun and stylish of the Bouvier daughters, Lee was a fashion force in her own right. Always dressed in impeccable style, Lee wore her signature ballet flats on the Upper East Side and on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. You can steal her style now with her namesake flats from Larroude.

One of our most coveted colors this season is the soft blue that’s found on JW Anderson’s quirky loafer. Mix one part Birkenstock and one part smart lady, and you’ll arrive at this perfect shoe for a sophisticated Spring.

The Lorrain Loafer features a beautiful almond shaped toe that feels grown up. In a clean white hue, this shoe will be your go-to style for any occasion. Perfect to be worn with cropped trousers or a midi length dress, we’ll be ordering multiples of these all season.
