One Week With Rent The Runway

RTRMAIN-02.jpg

After moving to the countryside from New York City, I’ve really grown to look forward to my Rent The Runway deliveries. There is nothing like a reusable navy bag full of fashion goodies arriving on my doorstep to add a little glamour to my week. My RTR membership has allowed me to take fashion risks without having to commit to anything fully, but more importantly, it has kept me inspired and excited about putting together new looks for the week - even if its just for my family and some farm animals!

Scroll below to see how I style my Rent The Runway pieces to stay chic all week long.

Monday

Mondays are always a bit hectic for me and I tend to be in a rush, but it helps when I organize my week the night before. Today, I’m helping the kids get back into their zoom school routine, having design meetings, and working through our Recreational Habits content calendar. The pants are RTR Victoria Victoria Beckham and the sweater is a Barneys private label navy cashmere turtleneck that I’ve had since I worked at Barneys years ago. I also love this picture as I’m matching the chairs in our living room and Dallas, our amazing rescue dog, is trying to make me throw the ball for him!

Tuesday

I’m in my office here, which is slowly coming together and I cannot wait to share with you soon, and preparing for a day full of meetings for RH. I’m in my RTR Nicholas Camel coat with these amazing side slits, and underneath, I have my riding breeches on as I have a riding lesson in the afternoon, and a cashmere turtleneck from Aritzia. I love that the coat cleans up the look - there is so much value in a chic camel coat!

Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! Wednesdays are the best because you are halfway through the week but also have time to finish up what your weekly goals. Mr. M took this photo of me at the end of an exhausting day where I wore the RTR Victor Alfaro Sweater with a white oxford and some rust colored riding breeches. This sweater is really special and versatile with its thick sleeve cuffs and the slit on the bottom hem.

Thursday

Thursday has become my favorite day of the week, as we get to have our family bible study in the evening and since I loved these RTR Victoria Beckham pants so much I got two wears out of them this week. They are stretchy and comfortable, but the pattern still feels tailored and modern. My cardigan is from a little boutique we discovered in Val d’Isere and loans itself to a comfortable day in the office, and my baseball hat is Recreational Habits!

Friday

TGIF! Finally it is Friday and I’m wearing 3 RTR pieces since I want to look cute for my date night with Mr. M tonight! I am really loving warmer tones these days and the Victor Alfaro pants and sweater, and the Nicolas Coat is such a chic day to night look.
